Browser-side processing

The image tools use browser APIs to process selected files locally in the page, the text tools use JavaScript running locally in the page to transform pasted text, the PDF tools use the pdf-lib and pdf.js JavaScript libraries, loaded from this site rather than a third-party CDN, to process PDF files locally in the page, and the calculators compute entirely in your browser using standard formulas. TheTools.World does not require accounts, logins, or membership for any of these tools.

The one exception: the currency converter

The currency converter is the one tool on this site that sends data to a third party. It sends your entered amount and the two selected currency codes to frankfurter.dev, a currency exchange rate provider, to fetch a current exchange rate. No other tool on this site makes this kind of request, and this behavior is disclosed directly on that tool's own page as well.

Analytics and cookies

The site uses Google Analytics 4 with lazy loading to understand traffic, page usage, and tool interactions. Analytics or related services may use cookies or similar technologies depending on browser settings and provider behavior.

File and tool-input privacy

Analytics events for image tools are designed to use safe buckets and tool/page labels. They should not collect uploaded file names, file content, personal document text, email addresses, phone numbers, or other user-entered personal details through GA events.

Third-party services and future advertising

Google Analytics is used for measurement. Google AdSense verification and ads.txt are present for site review, but display ad units are not installed yet. Advertising or additional third-party services may be added later to support the website, and this policy should be updated if that happens.
